This Returns Policy applies to all purchases made from Free Drop Pty Ltd through www.freedrop.com.au unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Customer satisfaction is our priority. We offer refunds, repairs, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

This policy operates in addition to, and does not limit or exclude, your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Where there is any inconsistency between this policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will prevail.

Under Australian Consumer Law, products sold by Free Drop Pty Ltd come with Consumer Guarantees that cannot be excluded.

Major Failure: If a product has a major failure with the Consumer Guarantees, you may choose a replacement or refund and may also be entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Non-Major Failure: If the failure is not major, you may be entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.

Where there is any inconsistency between this Returns Policy and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will prevail.

We do not accept returns for change of mind or if you have found the product cheaper elsewhere.

Please choose carefully as refunds will not be provided in these circumstances.

If you receive a product that has been damaged during delivery:

  • You must contact us within 1 week of receiving your order
  • The product must be returned in its original condition with all original packaging
  • We will repair, replace, or refund the product if eligible under this policy and Australian Consumer Law

We may refuse to provide a remedy if:

  • The product has been misused, neglected, or damaged through abnormal use
  • You knew about or were made aware of the issue before purchase
  • You asked for alterations to be made or services to be provided against our advice
  • Other exceptions apply under Australian Consumer Law

For large or bulky items:

  • You must contact us to arrange the return
  • We may organise courier pickup where required
  • Return shipping costs will be handled in accordance with this policy and Australian Consumer Law

Valid proof of purchase is required for all returns. Acceptable proof includes:

  • Tax invoice
  • Electronic invoice copy
  • Packing slip

Note: Order confirmation emails are not valid proof of purchase.

You are responsible for providing proof of purchase when making a return claim.

If the product fails to meet Consumer Guarantees:

  • We will cover the cost of return shipping and replacement shipping

If the product can be easily returned:

  • You are responsible for organising the return
  • You will be reimbursed for reasonable return shipping costs if your claim is valid

If the item is large or heavy:

  • We will arrange collection at our cost if the claim is eligible

If the item is found ineligible after inspection:

  • You will be responsible for all associated costs including return shipping

Some manufacturers may provide additional warranty support for their products.

You are not required to contact the manufacturer directly, but you may choose to do so if you prefer.

Free Drop Pty Ltd remains responsible for Consumer Guarantees under Australian Consumer Law regardless of manufacturer warranties.

All returns will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned product.

You will be notified of the outcome via email once the return has been assessed.

You may be required to present government-issued identification to verify your identity when processing a return.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise determined by Free Drop Pty Ltd.

In some cases, store credit may be offered as an alternative. Store credit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
